Which countries are most friendly to small biz?

Our top four – New Zealand, the U.S., Canada, and Australia – place relatively few hurdles in the path of business owners, according to a story in our June issue. So what are the best countries for entrepreneurs now? Would you start a business abroad?

Lauding entrepreneurship is great when you are not an entrepreneur or looking for the best entrepreneurial environment. What I have found is that getting it going is just one step, keeping it going is quite another and in that respect the big secret I discovered was INTRAPRENEURSHIP. We engaged a few businesses to help us and http://www.differworld.com course on the intrapreneurship challenge plus their coaching for all our employees worked best as we now have the employees thinking like entrepreneurs and that has helped me much to bridge the innovation gap between them and me. This is very important if you want continuing success

I agree with the article about ease of starting a business helping increase entrepreneurship. But to sustain is a different issue….

I feel that within a lot of industries some countries make it hard for rising entreprenuers due to monopoly in the market. For example, a friend of mine is starting up a make up line, but she has to use a different and a smaller customer base business model than the usual retail model, as Loreal pretty much takes up the entire market with Loreal, Estee Lauder, Lancome, Garnier, Maybelline, Biotherm and many more, how can she ever break into that market? Other example- coffee shops-its Starbucks everywhere.
Did you apply this factor into your research of where is it most condusive not just to start a business, but also where is it easy to break into a market and sustain a business. Any feedback will be helpful. Thanks.
