While they do offer a great education, unless you're a member of the LDS faith, you will likely find the heavy mix of religion and academics disturbing and a stifling somewhat fundamentalist culture compared with a regular university. The few non-member students that are there are actively proselytized into becoming members. It's a great school, but *only* if you're an active Mormon and want to live the lifestyle of one (a very, very narrow segment of the population). I say all of this as an active LDS member with friends at BYU. I don't think Brigham Young University belongs on this list. I'm enrolled in the "Executive MBA" program for working professionals which includes an international residency trip to 2 foreign countries, and the best of the best faculty from the 6th largest university in the United States.
