Energy bill promises lower-cost small biz loans
The energy bill passed last month includes a scattering of loan and training programs for small businesses. Think it goes far enough?

I just spoke to our local SBA center for the State of Washington. I am disappointed that the RFP has yet been distributed but I am encouraged to hear the enthusiasm of the Director Brett Rogers at Washington State University.
The company I represent Quopax, a live web-collaboration hosting company, believes the combination of promoting telecommunications and energy conservation in the same incentive package is right on the money.
I find it odd that legislation would actually make business sense. Telecommunications or live web conferencing and energy conservation seem to be logically linked in the legislation. Finally someone up there gets it.
