I run the marketing for a venture-backed open source startup and I have found that I obsess equally over both my career and hobby. I have built a custom reef aquarium and spend hours not only admiring the beauty of the corals and fish, but also tweaking and tuning the massive filtration system that supports the tank. All the different variables makes it an art, not unlike good marketing!
