Surfer Steve's excellent retail adventure

Steve McBride left the corporate world to build a surfboard company around his passion for the waves. Have you tried out a Kahuna board? Share your thoughts here.

Ogden Utah? Authentic? I never knew that town was a hotbed of surf culture and commerce. Just like Hollister. If only the kids in the Midwest knew Hollister is a cow town. Marketing maybe, real surf products, I doubt it.

The difference between achieving your goals and just dreaming, is action. If we can teach this to the next generation, our country (and economy) will have a bright future. Way to go Steve.

Inspiring story. Life is too short to be doing something that you are not passoniate about.

I'll be looking for a kahuna board in the shops.

Amazing story and wish you (Steve) the best. It's a challenging industry, but it sounds like he's found a niche within a pocket (gap) of opportunity. Steve, if it fails, the waves are still there! …but, we're rooting for you! God bless capitalism…
