Is this company out of business? I bought these shoes a few months ago and need to buy another skinn for the bone. Retailers say the shoes are pulled until they fix the bone?

The company has done so well for investors (lol), don't get suckered like I did, the shoes are way overpriced and the management way overrated. Perhaps CEO Fraud Klein should use another 900,000 in investors money to promote this mut through another pump and dump nationwide MAILER! This company should be throughly investigated by the powers that be! What a bunch of Clowns…DONT GET STUCK IN THIS STOCK!!!

I think they look great, and I love the whole idea. Haven't tried them, and won't, because they are manufactured in China. I'm trying to reduce my carbon footprint, so it makes no sense for me to buy anything from that far away. (For one reason.)

Well, I agree with most of what you said. Nevertheless, the footwear industry is sooo boring. Nobody except for CROX has come up with anything of value. Unfortunately, CROX was greedy and over sold the cheap ass shoes to everyone. SKNN was smart enough to patent the shoe and genius enough to launch the shoes at selected stores. It seems to me that Skins Footwear is doing the right thing here. They will never be in the trouble that Crox are in because they are protecting their technology. Furthermore, the Skins are coming from China, leaving the shoe at the bottom of production costs. That means no other company can come in and under sell them with fakes (this happened to CROX) – at least not right away. I just bought a boat load of this stock at .40 and today it hit .61. I like the way they are launching this shoe – slowly and carefully at selected stores. Business wise the company is making sure to make an impact without over-distributing the shoes. They also talk to potential customers through a blog – I like that: http://www.GetSkinnedAlive.com

The website is awful. Get some color in there. Styles are not the most appealing, although I really like the idea. Too pricey for me.

Shoes tend to be fad driven a lot of the time. This is a new concept and may possibly, if woman like them, take off. Woman tend to buy more shoes then men. I wish i knew the direction it would go since the stock is at $0.33. Would be nice to have that kind of insight.

The fact that the company withheld from a large launch until kinks were worked out with the shoe proves to me that the management is in it to win it. Not only have smart decisions been made, but the branding of Skins has been phenomenal thus far. The brand is very attractive as can be seen at http://www.SkinsFootwear.com and through the shoe's packaging. People will want to associate themselves with the sexy and chique look of Skins.

Another point which leads me to believe in the success of Skins, is that the company is very much looking at what is relative to consumers today. Customizing, personalizing, and being unique are huge attributes of desire today. Skins is capitalizing on this. It is also a time where media—visual and audio—are at the fingertips of the world, without separation of distance. The video contest Skins will soon launch shows us that they recognize how to reach their consumers. YouTube and other video content sites are insane right now; a video contest is genius.

this idea is valid, and has great potential. marketing has been poor. as for the website, too new-agey, is this someone's weird version of post-modern design… I've never seen a more depressing and unmotivated site in my life: change it completely, and give it some color, literally.

Looks like my Calico Cat.

If these guys were smart, they would get Robert Greenburg on board! LA Gear, now that was an incredible shoe stock growth story.

Our 4-13 Youth Investors are buyers of the company. My wife and I bought a pair each. Hers from Littles of Pittsburgh and mine from SportieLA.
Smart Marketing for the Family, More Designs, And Affordable Pricing Will Guarantee Success. If the foam made Hole-Filled Crocs can have mega success then this leather made shoe should be able to have some success.

Have not had an opportunity to try these but my feet are telling me that what's out there now is not working. I agree that the foot bed is the most important part of the shoe. Comfort outweighs style everytime in my book.
Thank you for thinking outside of the box.

Reading the above post make me think this article was missing the Skin Footwear line message. They have shown this idea at WSA a biannual World shoe event. Skins Inc. is the worlds first modular shoe separates into components. The components may be interchangeable to provide versatility without requiring a large number of single use shoes. So for those who did not like the color posted…change it to what ever color you want.
I look forward to this interchangeable shoe and so does my closet!

The shoe shown in the article is just one of the many in the Spring/Summer Collection. There are actually some very appealing designs. You can see them at http://www.skinsfootwear.com.

And by the way, that style, Damian, has sold out in a couple sizes on pre-sale between http://www.sportiela.com and http://www.footwearetc.com. So people actually do like it!

Hey
This is a joke right? The shoe is a bowling shoe or track shoe with pitiful colors. If he's got enough clout with fashion people they will probably find some folks who have never went bowling, to buy these. The hype better be really good. Better then what I just read!
