We use a product called Sales System. You can find it at SalesSystem.com. It takes leads directly from your Web site or Google ad and puts it into the system where you manage them. It’s offered as an online service or you can buy the system directly.

Increasingly I have seen small service businesses turning to new online tools for small service businesses like HourTown.com which not only provides online scheduling for small service businesses, but also generates new leads for those small businesses by focusing on getting business details into search engines like Google, and putting through partnerships which drive people looking for local businesses to the businesses. They then help seal the deal by allowing the “purchase” to be made by allowing leads to schedule an appointment right there and then online.

FSB online community is major fail but I think “you” might like to see a real world example of what can happen when one of the examples is executed “poorly” by a simple taco maker.

(there is more to this real life horror story, but for now my point is once you find a prime contact from Google Alerts, you might not want to tell them how you did that!~)

This video does have some blue words and one sad picture, but it is from a top podcaster with thousands of subscribers and millions of views; and shows me and our product just getting slaughtered in one of the funniest ways I could ever imagine (btw: it has been an amazing thing and we are a serious tool; five of the Fortune 500 companies use our tacos).
