Viewers only see the sunny side up of RFD. Their isn't a Sponsor or producer that hasn't been completely and royally schwantzed by this person. Behind the scenes, it is turmoil.

Gottsch is profiting illegally at others expense and then ignoring the court when he's caught. He's taking advantage of non-profit status for his own personal gain and trying to sell it to us as "country work ethic" just as a fraudulent televangelist cloaks himself in the lords work. He's a criminal masquerading as an entrepreneur and should be treated as such.

I think Patrick Gottsch is a country bumpkin genius. Who could blame him for being nonprofit for as long as he possible could? Especially when you consider how many silly religious channels (some not I submit) get to be "nonprofit" when after every show they plug something they're selling and they make millions under the umbrella. Nonprofit? I don't think so.
More power to RFD-TV and Mr. Gottsch! What an American hero he is to television entrepeneurs everywhere. I want to work for him "like a farm hand". Please hire me!

My husband has been in love with RFD for years. Unfortunately, cable tv in Albany, NY has not taken the concept seriously. We've learned gardening, geography, animal care - a world of general family type topics to be enjoyed by everyone. We were one of the first and continue to be a long hold out on satellite TV, even though when leaves get thickest and we can no longer obtain the satellite lineup, we still remain viewers because cable tv refuses to pay attention. Too bad for them.
