From MOJarry, Nixa MO. The problem is in the name: "SMALL" business. "BIG" business doesn't want the competition! Entrepreneurs and truly inventive people are at the mercy of big corporations. Your great business or invention represents a threat to them, and if they can't steal it they will try to destroy you. Only when small business gets equal advantages as big business will there be any change. For example, big banks received billions (of taxpayer money from you), supposedly to loosen credit, but they used the money to pay executive bonuses, buy up smaller banks (competition) and RAISED interest rates on most of their small business customers! Do you really think BIG business and BIG government want you to succeed? Get over it!
They "borrow" money at 0.25% and charge 10-20% + for you to use it, IF you are creditworthy enough for their "fiscally responsible" guidelines! Ridiculous!
The USA is on it's way to becoming the new Mexico, where 5% own 90% of the wealth, and 95% own what's left.

I use shoeboxed.com. They supply the envelopes, I send them my receipts and business cards weekly. They scan them, place all the information online and return the originals. I can download PDF full page versions of the receipts for expenses, export the receipts to a spreadsheet. The business card data is exported in csv format. At $5 per week, it saves me time and hassle. Plus, I can do my expenses on the road as all of the information is online.
