Save cash by going green
Masonry firm Absolute Tile and Stone wants to update its business to be more environmentally friendly – profitably. What's your advice for the company?

Crush the remnants or cut in shapes then cast them in concrete or another binder for a completely new product line, that if made to size, would not have any waste. There is a company in the east who does this with glass already, as detailed on PBS.

The first comment is an excellent suggestion, and was my original thought. The scraps could also be useful to furniture manufacturers, and perhaps artists that can piece them together or create composites.
